The qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply a broad range of administrative competencies in varied work contexts, including computer skills and various software applications required for various job roles and using some discretion and judgment. They may also provide technical advice and support a team. Course entry requirements:There are no formal entry requirements to this program. The preferred pathway for people considering this qualification include" after achieving the Certificate III in Business or with some vocational experience in a range of roles as medical records officer, office administration assistant, clerk, word processing operator or a clerical worker. However, it is usual for impending students to own or have ready access to a computer and a willingness to learn. Course duration:This course can be undertaken completely by correspondence and includes self paced learning manuals, workbook, assignment tasks and assessments based on work place activities. The course usually takes 15 hrs a week for 24 weeks, however you can certainly work and complete it in a shorter period. You have up to 12 months to complete it in RPL:Past Experiences Count: Recognition of Prior Learning or Current Competency is available, just call today to inquire about the process and fees involved and discuss if you might be eligible. Basically, if you have any formal qualifications or skills gained through work experience or informal study that you believe cover the competencies of the modules and you can support or demonstrate these through evidence that you have attained you can be eligible to gain a credit for that module.
