Certificate II in Business (BSB20107)

This qualification would allow a person to work in a wide range of business administration roles within both small and large organisations, particularly as a receptionist, administration assistant, clerical worker and data entry duties.

The Certificate II in Business is a national qualification required by many employers.

The qualification would indicate that you have mastered basic office skills including computer skills and various software applications required for various job roles. Also for the development of careers and for those in the area wishing to formalize their knowledge and skills within the formal Vocational Educational Training area.

Course entry requirements:

There are no formal entry requirements to this program. However, it is usual for impending students to own or have ready access to a computer and a willingness to learn. It would be assumed you have competed Year 10 at school with sound literacy and numeracy skills. If you wish to discuss this matter further feel free to contact one of our course advisers.

Course duration:

This course can be undertaken completely by correspondence and includes self paced learning manuals, workbook, assignment tasks and assessments based on work place activities. The course usually takes 15 hrs a week for 20 weeks, however you can certainly work and complete it in a shorter period. You have up to 12 months to complete it in

RPL:

Past Experiences Count: Recognition of Prior Learning or Current Competency is available, just call today to enquire about the process and fees involved and discuss if you might be eligible. Basically, if you have any formal qualifications or skills gained through work experience or informal study that you believe cover the competencies of the modules and you can support or demonstrate these through evidence that you have attained you can be eligible to gain a credit for that module.

When can I start:

With the home study/correspondence option you can start immediately - you don't have to wait for terms or minimum class numbers.

Fee:

Home Study is $P.O.A and includes all materials (course and activity book, telphone and email and personal support as required.

Austudy:

Yes, this course is Austudy Approved and available as a traineeship in NSW.

How do I apply for the course:

To enrol go to the Course Registration page

  1. Download and complete the Course Registraton Form - General, also
  2. Attach a copy of your drivers Licence or other form of Identity and
  3. Post to PO Box 655 Dapto NSW 2530 or deliver the forms to Impact Training's Office at 35 Marshall Street, Dapto between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm

Otherwise, you can personally attend Impact Training Services Office at 35 Marshall Street Dapto during business hours and complete the necessary forms. Ongoing study Pathways:

This course can lead to entry into the Certificate III or IV in Business Administration courses also conducted by Impact Training.
