Perform C.P.R. (HLTCPR201A)

Impact First Aid Training ensures graduates will acquire all the skills and knowledge required to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (C.P.R.) in line with the Australian Resuscitation guidelines in the event of a medical emergency.

Course Duration

3 hours of face to face training + completion of pre-course booklet/questions You will receive a handy pocket size coloured booklet at course registration.

Course Content

This course is delivered by Impact Training which follows the policies of the Australian Resuscitation Council and is aligned to the learning outcomes of HLTCPR201A Perform CPR.

The course covers both theory and practical topics which include:

  • Respond to signs of an unconscious casualty
  • Procedures for performing CPR
  • Communicate details of the incident

Course Purpose

The face to face practical training session is used to focus on learning and practicing CPR. The overall aim is to provide you with the knowledge and confidence to provide C.P.R in an emergency.

Pre-requisites

There are no pre-requisites for this course. Students must be at least 14 years of age and can be enrolled by a parent/ guardian to attend.

Assessment

Impact Training offers a hands on approach with progressive assessments throughout the course including multiple choice questions and practical CPR scenarios. This is competency based training, so we will ensure that you have a thorough understanding of CPR before you go home.

Award

On successful completion of this course you will receive a Statement of Attainment - Perform CPR (HLTCPR201A) which is valid for 12 months. As per the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines the CPR skills are required to be updated every 12 months.

To enrol go to Impact's Course Registration page and download the PDF Course Registration form located under the First Aid heading and complete and return it together with your course fee to Impact Training Services located at 35 Marshall Street, Dapto.

One form of photo ID will be required to be shown on the day of the course. Suitable ID includes a Drivers Licence, Passport, NSW RTA photo ID card or Birth Card.
