Course PurposeThis course has been designed for individuals to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to make them confident and competent to provide immediate defibrillation to a casualty.The practical training aims to provide you with the knowledge and confidence to provide you the ability to operate a defibrillator in an emergency. Pre-requisitesYou will be required to have a current CPR certificate and a Senior First Certificate or equalivent. Students must be at least 16 years of age and can be enrolled by a parent/ guardian to attend. AssessmentImpact Training offers a hands on approach with progressive assessments throughout the course including multiple choice questions, practical use of a defibrillator and a completion of a workbook. AwardOn successful completion of this course you will receive a Statement of Attainment - Operate a semi-automatic Defibrillator in an Emergency (PUAOPE010A). Course Fee$80.00 pp (GST free) Ask about our group rates. The fee includes a workbook/manual, certificate, all course materials and equipment required for the course including the supply of tea and coffee.
