Is Your Training Approved?Yes certainly, Impact Training Services meets the requirements of being a Registered Training Organisation registered by the NSW Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB) Registration Number 90368. We also have mutual recognition in the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland and Victoria to deliver the Nationally Endorsed Training Package for Asset Security and as such issue you with qualifications recognised under the Australian Recognition Framework (AQF level). As a Registered Training Organisation Impact Training Services is a holder of a NSW Security Master Licence (Number 403176684) and ACT (Number 17501663). We only employ trainers who have had at least 8 years industry experience and most have 20+ years. The trainers are also licensed as Security Industry Trainers ( i.e. hold a Class 2D licence under the Security Industry Act, (1997) together with national training qualifications (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment) and a minimum of a Certificate IV in Security Risk Management. What You Need to KnowIn New South Wales the requirements of the Security Industry Act makes it compulsory for any person undertaking security activities (i.e. guarding, patroling or performing door work or installing security alarms) to hold the appropriate class of security licence i.e. Class 1A for static or mobile guards or 1C for crowd controllers, otherwise you would be committing an offence with fines up to $4,400. Impact Training is now delivering training and conducting assessments under the new Asset Security Training Package CPP07 and the required entry level security training course as required for NSW which came into effect on 1st July 2010. This change will effect the way training is conducted for new entrants into the industry and also existing security guards in NSW.
